Audi EV Q8 e-Tron: Audi shared a teaser image of the two electric cars both launched on Wednesday, 9 November.
The luxury car brand from Germany, Audi is going to launch two new EVs in the market. The EV car segment of Audi is not as strong and provides options as the competitors but soon it’s going to change because Audi has announced 2 new EVs. The company has officially discontinued the e-Tron EV and launched the new Q8 e-Tron and Q8 Sportback e-Tron on 9 November.
The new model update of the Q8 was pending for a long time on the list of Audi. Many companies already have their EV cars in the market and now Audi is bringing their challenger to the market. Audi officially has said that the Q8 e-Tron will be the face of the EV segment of the company.
Audi EV Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron
The official names of the 2 New upcoming cars are not confirmed but Audi had previously said that the Q8 e-Tron will be the new car from the company in the EV segment and a social media post, the company pointed out that soon the curtain will be lifted on the Q8 e-Tron. The new Q8 e-Tron could get a 95 kWh battery. The new generation model will debut in 2026.
Design and Technology
The design of the two new EVs will not be much different from the Q8 design but they will surely differ from the Q8 with many minor design changes which will indicate that they are electric cars. The new EVs will come with a single-frame grille, and the technology in the headlamps will be updated; the rear of the car will also get some minor changes on the bumper and taillights.
The overall technology and technical level of the new EVs are expected to get high updates. Audi will put a new electrical system in the new Q8 e-Tron and Q8 Sportback e-Tron to rival the BMW IX and the Mercedes EQE. The range of the new Q8 e-Tron will be more than 600 km on a single charge of the 110 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
