Man builds 27 million mAh power bank that can charge TVs, washing machines, and thousands...

Handy Geng decided he was working around a much smaller power bank than his friends, so he decided to pay massively more compensation. Geng claims that his invention has a capacity of 27 million mAh – enough juice to charge about 5,000 phones with 3,000 mAh batteries. Safe to say, if you’re only using it for your handset you’ll probably never have to recharge it. The meat of a power bank appears to be a larger battery pack than you might find in electric vehicles.

However, Geng builds most of the project himself, which includes a protective frame and the wiring to run some 60 power ports. Not only does it charge the phone, but the power bank produces enough juice to power large devices simultaneously. Ever wanted to watch TV while fishing? Need to charge your electric scooter in between while operating a twin-tub washing machine? Anecdotally, the project is miles over the top, but it’s also oddly practical.

Man builds 27 million mAh Power Bank

In the video, Geng says that his friends were fed up with the big power bank he had, and wanted to show that he has the biggest and longest-lasting battery. The making of this power bank is shown in this video. Although no information has been shared about the battery but looking at the flat and pre-installed battery pack in the casing, it seems that it could be an electric vehicle battery pack.

To pack the battery pack and IC components together, Geng designed a metal casing that looks exactly like a compact power bank. Next to it were installed input and output charging ports. The voltage rating of this power bank is 220V, with which, as claimed, TVs, washing machines and electric induction cookers, utensils, etc. can be powered.
