Kia Motor India has launched its all-new 6 and 7-seater Clarence MPV in India with a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The company has launched the Clarence in 5 variants – Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus. The price of the top model of the MPV goes up to Rs 16.99 lakh. According to the competition, the company has given a lot of features in the car and its cabin is also very comfortable. Customers will get captain seats in the middle row in the 6-seater variant, while the bench seat has been given with the 7-seater model.

This is the fourth product in India from the South Korean carmaker with fully LED headlamps and LED DRLs, a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Kia Connect technology, Bose sound system, ventilated seats, air purifier with viruses and bacteria. Many more features like protection and sunroof have been given. The car has also been made strong in terms of safety and many features like 6 airbags and a tire pressure monitoring system have been given with this MPV.

Competition between Ertiga and Innova Crysta
Smartstream 1.5-litre petrol, Smartstream 1.4-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine options are available with the Kia Clarence. The company has usually given a 6-speed manual gearbox with these three engines, while the option of turbo-petrol and oil burner engine is given with 7-speed DCT and 6-speed torque converter gearbox respectively.
