Honda City Hybrid: This superb sedan will run up to 1,000 KM once it is fully tanked!

Honda Cars India is all set to launch its new city hybrid car on April 14, which will be the most fuel-efficient Honda car in India. It is estimated that this new premium sedan will give a mileage of 25-26 km in one liter of petrol and accordingly this car can be driven up to 1,000 km once it is a full tank.

New Delhi: Honda Cars India is going to launch its all-new Honda City Hybrid today. on 14th April, which is the company’s first powerful hybrid car in India. It is going to become India’s most economical automotive car in terms of fuel. According to ARAI, this car can give a mileage of 25-26 km and the fuel tank of the car is 40 liters. Accordingly, the new Honda City Hybrid can be driven up to 1,000 km once fully tanked. If sources are to be believed, the company is going to launch new 2 variants – V and VX.

i-MMD EHEV Hybrid System
The fifth-generation Honda City has taken the compact sedan segment to a different level once it hits the market. This car has been launched with great styling with strong features and now the company has almost completed the preparations to launch the hybrid model of New Generation City in India. Honda’s i-MMD EHEV hybrid system will be given in this car coming with two electric motors. With this system, the new Honda City will also be able to run on electric power only. It is set to become the most affordable self-charging hybrid automotive in India, overtaking the Toyota Camry.

About 25-26 km. mileage of
The new hybrid variant of the Honda Town is going to be powered higher by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that makes 98PS of power and 127Nm of peak torsion. With the hybrid system, the new car will not only make the new car faster, but its mileage will also increase significantly. The electric motor in the car generates 109PS of power and 253Nm of peak torque. The engine of the car is equipped with a CVT automatic gearbox. Honda India has given three modes to the new City Hybrid which include Pure EV, Hybrid, and Engine Only. Explain that after installing the hybrid system, the mileage of the car becomes 27.78 km.

What is the estimated price?
Honda is about to launch this car in the Indian market at a competitive price. Compact sedans are now available in the market at a much lower cost and the hybrid system is sure to increase the price. In such a situation, it is being speculated that Honda City Hybrid can be launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 17.5 lakh. The starting ex-showroom price of its current petrol variant is Rs 11.23 lakh, which goes up to Rs 15.18 lakh for the top model.
