Hyundai Motor India has stopped production of one of its cheapest and oldest cars, the Santro, and reports suggest that the decision has been taken due to low demand.

When the Hyundai Santro was launched in India, it was the best selling car of the company, while also becoming the most liked card of the countrymen. The Santro was first launched in 1998 and the car made a comeback in India in 2018.

But this time the car has not performed well as compared last time. A recent report has also revealed that the company has banned the sale of petrol variants of the car, but the sale of CNG variants will continue.

Now the car will continue to be sold:
If Hyundai dealerships are to be believed, according to their information, the petrol variants of the Santro will be sold till the stock lasts, while they have not got any clear information about the CNG variants of the car. Let us tell you that Hyundai is going to launch many more cars in the CNG segment and if the Hyundai Santro continues, then it can be the cheapest CNG car. But the company can also launch a new affordable car in its place.

Hyundai Santro Relaunched:
The Centro was re-launched in India at a price of Rs 3.9 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, it used to go up to Rs 5.5 lakh in the top model. But for the last few years, the company has increased the price of this car by 20 to 30%, for which no main reason has been given.

According to a survey, there has been a lot of change in the Indian customers towards test cars in the last 5 years. Now the option of affordable and small size SUV is available in front of the customers and people are also like them a lot according to their needs. In view of these demands, now all the companies are launching their cars in this segment.
