How to Apply for E-Shramik Card
It is very simple to apply for an e-Shramik card. You can also apply online. To do so, navigate to the labor portal’s website, eshram.gov.in. After that, you fill out the form. Visit the official website of e-shram portal (eshram.gov.in). On the home page, select the Register one-Shram option.
When the new page opens, enter the requested information. After this, an option will come on the mobile number linked to your Aadhar card. Enter it.
This will open the registration page. The application form has to be filled out completely. Required documents have to be uploaded. Finally submit the form.
After this, after the completion of the registration process, a 10-digit e-shram card will be issued.
Workers who do not have Aadhar link mobile number, then they can register by visiting their nearest CSC.

Benefits of E-Shram Card
If you have an e-shram card, you are eligible for insurance coverage of up to Rs 2 lakh through the PM Suraksha Bima Yojana. A worker’s family will receive Rs 2 lakh if he is killed in an accident. Simultaneously, if the person is disabled, an amount of Rs 1 lakh is available.
You also get the benefit of all the schemes of the Labor Department like freecycle, free sewing machines, scholarships for children, free tools for your work, etc.
In the future, this ration card will be linked to it, so that you will be able to get rations from any ration shop in the country.
