This feature will soon come to the WhatsApp app of all smartphones. In WhatsApp settings, you will see an option to ‘Move to iOS’, which will allow you to easily send chats from Android to iPhone. The announcement was made by Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of WhatsApp’s parent company Meta, through a blog post.
How to use this feature
Let us know how to use this feature. To begin, you must first open WhatsApp on your smartphone. Then go to the option ‘Move to iOS’ and follow the prompts on the screen. You will then receive a code on your iPhone, which you will need to feed into your Android smartphone. Then, on the ‘Transfer Data’ screen, select ‘WhatsApp’ after clicking ‘Continue.’ After this click on ‘Start’ on your Android smartphone. After this, WhatsApp will start to specialize the data and you will be signed out of the Android phone.
After that by clicking ‘Next’ you will be redirected to the ‘Move to iOS’ option, here by pressing ‘Continue’ you will be able to start transferring data from Android to iOS. Now, when all the data is transferred, download the latest version of WhatsApp from the App Store and then log in with your phone number.
