The passenger had shared his ticket fare details with users on Twitter, which caught the attention of the people. What does cute fee mean?

Let us tell you that CUTE stands for Common User Terminal Equipment. Passengers are charged for using metal detectors, escalators, and other equipment and facilities at the airport. This is a fee levied by the Airports Authority of India (DGCA) and is very common. But after Shantanu’s tweet, users started showering comments on it. One internet user jokingly wrote, ‘The cost of being cute is Rs 100. Other users explained in simple language what exactly this cutie means.

One user jokingly wrote, ‘Also they are trying to develop you, see the charge of Vikas, your need for development is three and a half times more than your cuteness.’ Another user explained, ‘It is charged for Common User Terminal Equipment’, it is collected by DGCA and not by the airline. Also, the user suggested that they should write it in capital letters so that it is clear that it is a diminutive form.

Another user wrote on Twitter Don’t worry if someone is calling me cute, I can give 100 rupees. The pain of single people. More than 8 thousand likes have come on this post and hundreds of users have retweeted it.
