PIB Fact Check: If your savings account is also in SBI, then this news is of your use. The message related to the transaction of the country’s largest government bank SBI (SBI) is going viral. It is being claimed in this message that you can do 40 transactions annually in the savings account. For more than 40 transactions, Rs 57.5 will be deducted from the amount deposited in the account for every transaction.

PIB rubbished all the claims as fake!
In another message, it is also being said that a total of Rs 173 will be deducted for withdrawing money from ATM more than 4 times. It was told on PIB fact check that no such rule has been made by the bank. It was told by PIB that all these claims are fake. The bank has not changed any rules for carrying out transactions.

5 Transactions Free Every Month!
Recently PIB Fact reported that 5 free transactions can be done every month from your bank’s ATM. After this, a maximum of Rs 21 will be payable separately for transactions or any tax. Recently, PIB Fact Check called another viral message fake. The viral message claimed that a loan of Rs 4.78 lakh was given to Aadhar card holders.
