Earlier in the year 2018, the toll increased.

Toll tax will also increase on many national highways
Apart from this, toll tax on many other national highways will increase from September 1. Commercial vehicles will also be subject to the toll fee increase. The bike and tractor have been kept separate from this. In this regard, a report has also been requested. Providing details, Yamuna Development Authority CEO, Dr. Arun Veer Singh said that in the 74th board meeting of the authority, it was decided to increase the toll rate of Yamuna Expressway.

More than 130 crores were spent on 22 works,
He also told that according to the directions of the court, 22 security-related works were to be done on the expressway. Yamuna Authority did not raise the toll fee as a result of the incompleteness of these projects. Now the expressway management has completed all the work on these safety features. On these things, more than 130 crores have been spent. The authority raised the toll prices when the project was finished.
