Since 1978, this list has been under construction. It has more than 1,150 locations, including well-known tourist attractions like the Great Wall of China, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, and Brazil’s Central Amazon Conservation Complex.
The list also includes Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks. As well as the most well-known and often visited glaciers in the entire world. The last remaining glaciers in Africa, Kilimanjaro National Park and Mount Kenya, the Pyrenees’ Mont Perdu, and Italy’s Dolomites are among the glaciers that are thought to have disappeared.
