2023 Renault Duster: Vehicle manufacturer Renault India stopped the production of its popular SUV Duster in India some time ago, but now it is reported that the company may launch a new model soon. The company has already started manufacturing it and is expected to launch it with a new platform by 2023. So let’s know about the features that can be given in it.
The 2023 Renault Duster will be built on the new platform
It is speculated that the upcoming Renault Duster will be built on the all-new CMF-B architecture platform. It is already in the development stage in Europe and it remains to be seen whether it is produced in India or will be brought through the CBU route. Coming to the powertrain, the new Duster can be paired with a 4×4 drivetrain and a hybrid powertrain considering the current situation. The upcoming model may get a 1.2L turbo petrol with a 48V hybrid system that will be capable of producing a combined power output of 130bhp. Apart from this, the company can also offer a 1.3-liter turbo petrol engine.
2023 Renault Duster will get a facelift
As already known, the upcoming Duster is being built on a new platform. For this reason, along with the body style, efforts are being made to make it a model with more features. However, it is basically a lower version of the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF-B platform. The new model will also retain the off-road capability of the previous Duster. Apart from this, special wheel arches, square-off fenders, and muscular bodywork can be included in it.
Duster may get a feature update
At present, not much is known about its cabin features, but it is estimated that it will be equipped with all the latest features. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head unit can be found instead of the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment head unit found in its older model. Along with this, there will also be Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The latest features are also expected to be a 4×4 monitor with an inclinometer and altimeter, multiview camera, and blind-spot monitor. Apart from this, the updated Duster could also get new seats and center console, a 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, and automatic headlights.
