There have been four such players in the IPL’s history whose IPL careers ended in unexpected ways.

Despite displaying their abilities on the pitch, these players have somehow lost themselves. Nobody is aware of the activities or state of these stars. Cricketers from all around the world are working hard to qualify for the IPL because they are well aware that a strong showing in this major competition might change their lives. Let’s look at some of the IPL players who aren’t present.IPL

1. Tirumalasetty Suman

Tirumalasetty Suman, a right-handed batsman from Hyderabad, was a run-producing machine for the Hyderabad Deccan Chargers. He scored 237 runs in 2009 and followed that up with 307 runs for the Adam Gilchrist-led team in 2010. He only managed to score 65 runs in seven innings for the Mumbai Indians the next season, though. He was unable to function after that and left the IPL and cricket.IPL

2. Kamran Khan

The Rajasthan Royals chose the left-arm fast bowler from a small town in Uttar Pradesh for the 2009 season. Everyone, even the famous Shane Warne, was astounded by the wonder youngster of the Royals’ pace. 140 kmph was the top speed at which he could bowl. Up until 2010, Kamran Khan was a member of the Rajasthan Royals. In 2011, he joined the Pune squad. The fast bowler from Uttar Pradesh rose to fame overnight for his cricketing prowess, but once in the spotlight, he was unable to maintain his success and quit playing the game.IPL

3. Mohit Sharma

In 2014, Mohit Sharma of Chennai Super Kings emerged as the player with the most wickets, taking 23 in 16 games with an average of 19.65. But, in the IPL 2022 super auction, Mohit Sharma (33), did not this time find a bidder. The cricketer from Haryana played for CSK from 2013 to 2015 before switching to Kings XI Punjab, where he competed for the squad from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, he returned to CSK. In 86 IPL games, Mohit Sharma has taken 92 wickets overall. Mohit Sharma, who participated in 26 ODIs and 8 T20Is, was a member of the Indian side that advanced to the semifinals of the 2015 ODI World Cup, which was co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, and the 2014 ICC World T20 final in Bangladesh.IPL

4. Manpreet Goni

Everyone was impressed by the fast bowler from Punjab’s performance for CSK in the 2008 IPL season opener. Gony gained entry into the national squad in 2008 as a result of his outstanding performances, however, he was only given the opportunity to play against Bangladesh and Hong Kong. He played for the Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, and Hyderabad Deccan Chargers, however, he was unable to match his 2008 CSK performance.
