Banks in both the public and private sectors will be closed an additional six days in June due to significant days. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar, banks will therefore be closed for a total of 12 days (bank holidays 2023) this month, including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.
List of all June bank holidays 2023
The bank holidays 2023 that are included in the Holidays Under Negotiable Instruments Act are listed below.
- Due to Raja Sankranti, banks in Mizoram and Odisha will be closed on June 15.
- Due to the Rath Yatra, banks in Odisha will be closed on June 20.
- Due to Kharchi Puja, Tripura banks will be closed on June 26.
- June 28: Due to Eid Ul Azha, banks in Kerala, Maharashtra, and Jammu & Kashmir will be closed.
- Banks will be closed on June 29 in observance of Eid ul Azha.
- Due to Reema Eid Ul Azha, banks in Mizoram and Odisha will be closed on June 30.
