Indian Railway is releasing some shocking information. The personal information of 30 million people who purchased train tickets has been taken by cyber criminals. This contains a variety of highly private information, such as their email address, mobile number, residence, age, and gender. These days, the dark web is being used to sell this info. The Railways have not yet released an official comment regarding the event. However, this event, along with Delhi AIIMS, is thought to have significantly compromised the railways’ cyber security.

The website “Money Control” reported that this instance of passenger data theft (Indian Railways Data Breach) occurred on December 27. The assault was reportedly carried out by a hacker forum. Although the true identity of that hacker forum has not been made public, it is known by the name “Shadowhacker.” This data of 3 crore travelers is currently being sold on a hacker forum’s dark web.
