ABS and EBD with brake sway control, Speed Sensing Door Lock, and ISOFIX mount for Child Seat. Features like Seat Belt Warning, Overspeed Warning, Central Locking, Automatic headlamps, Child Lock, and Rain sensing wipers are also offered.

3 – Mahindra XUV300.

The 3rd SUV in this list is the Mahindra XUV300 with a rating of 5 for adults and 4 for child safety given by The Global NCAP after the crash test. Safety features in this compact-size SUV are 6-airbags, a Disk brake on all 4 wheels, front parking sensors, ESP and ABS, foglamps to help in foggy conditions, and an ISOFIX child seat mount. Features like Seat Belt Warning, Child Lock, Overspeed Warning, Speed Sensing Door Lock, Anti-theft Engine immobilizer, and Central Locking are also offered. 

Prize Range = 8L – 14L (Ex-showroom).

4 – Mahindra XUV700.

The mid-size SUV of Mahindra Group the Mahindra XUV700 comes 4th in this list. With a Global NCAP rating of 5 for adults and 4 for child safety. Mahindra XUV700 gained a lot of attention during the launch because of its premium features like ADAS- lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, digital instrument cluster, 360 surround view, etc. The main safety features of XUV700 are an advanced driver assist system (ADAS), 7 airbags, emergency autonomous braking, lane keep assist, Seat Belt Warning, Child Lock, Anchor Points for Child Seat, Overspeed Warning, Speed Sensing Door Lock, Anti-theft Engine immobilizer, Middle rear three-point seatbelt, and Central Locking.

5 – Tata Nexon.

TATA Nexon was the first made-in-India car or SUV to get 5 stars rating from the Global NCAP crash test. Tata Nexon has a rating of 5 for adults and 3 for child safety. It was firstly launched in 2017 and now the improved versions are available in the market. Safety features of the Tata Nexon SUV are ABS and EBD, 2 Airbags (Driver, Passenger), ISOFIX mount for Child Seat, Electronic Traction Control, Rollover Mitigation, Emergency Brake Assist, Hill Hold Control, Electronic Brake Pre-fill, and Brake Disc Wiping. Some other onboard features are Seat Belt Warning, Child Lock, Overspeed Warning, Speed Sensing Door Lock, Central Locking, reverse park assist, and auto-dimming IRVM mirror.
