A formal announcement is imminent
According to the 7th pay matrix, every level of employee, from small-grade workers to officer grade, will see a significant boost in pay. The amount of the dearness allowance that will increase in July has currently been determined, although it has not yet been formally declared. The administration may make the announcement in August or September.
Notification is made by the Ministry of Finance
The government typically approves the DA in September. The central government employees are then paid after the Finance Ministry has notified them. The central staff receives arrears for the difference of this enhanced dearness allowance, which is valid for two months.
