DA Hike Latest News: Many states of the country have decided to increase the inflation of government employees in recent times. Which the governments of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Tripura are included. In addition, all of these states will hold assembly elections in one to one and a half years. This is also a big reason why these governments have taken this decision to get the votes of government employees and their family members. But now all eyes are on the central government when it announces to increase in the dearness allowance of its central employees.

Currently, it is difficult to comment on the creation of the 8th Pay Commission. Because it is obvious from the central government’s statements that no proposal for the creation of the 8th Pay Commission to raise salaries for central employees is now before the government. But the Modi government can give a big gift to the central employees and pensioners to overcome the loss. It is anticipated that the government will approve the rise in central employees’ dearness allowance at the Union Cabinet meeting held over the holiday season.

Let us tell you that the central government revises the DA and DR twice a year in the month of January and July on the basis of the data on retail inflation. The nation’s inflation rate has surpassed the RBI’s projections. Retail inflation has gone above the RBI’s tolerance level of 6 percent. The retail inflation rate for the month of July was 6.71 percent. The government has increased the dearness allowance for the first half of the year 2022 from January to June. It is now anticipated that the dearness allowance would grow from July to December.

How much will DA increase?
After the data of the All India Consumer Price Index for industrial workers, it is expected that the dearness allowance may be increased by 5 percent. It is being said that the dearness allowance of central employees can be increased by 39 percent. The dearness allowance hike opens the door for a significant pay raise for central personnel. The central employees’ dearness allowance may be raised from 34% to 39%. This national government decision will have an impact on 68 lakh retirees and 47 lakh employees.
