For the academic year 2024–2025, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the syllabus for classes 9 and 12. There are two divisions for the curriculum: senior secondary (classes 11 and 12) and secondary (classes 9 and 10). By visiting the official website, students can review the syllabus unique to each course.

The Class 12 curriculum

comprises seven core areas, including Languages, Humanities, Math, Science, Skill subjects, General Studies, and Health and Physical Education. For Class 10, CBSE requires five required subjects and two electives.

  • You can now download it and check it.

  • Go to the CBSE website’s Curriculum area area.
  • To view the syllabus for Classes 9–10, click on “Secondary Curriculum (IX–X).”
  • Get subject-specific information and download the appropriate syllabus.
  • Download the syllabus’s subject-specific details.

The National Council of Educational Research and Training

will distribute the new syllabus for classes 3 and 6 for the forthcoming academic year 2024–25 beginning in April, according to a recent announcement from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CBSE said in a notification to all affiliated institutions that NCERT had revealed in a letter dated March 18 that it was working on new textbooks and syllabuses for classes III and VI. By 2023, schools are expected to switch from using NCERT textbooks to these new resources.
