G20 Summit: Delhi Government Announces Traffic Restrictions, See What Is Allowed & What Is Closed

The gazette notification states that from midnight on the intervening September 7 and 8 to 23:59 on September 10. All kinds of goods vehicles, commercial vehicles, interstate buses, and local city buses are prohibited from operating on Mathura Road (beyond Ashram Chowk), Bhairon Road, Purana Quila Road, and inside Pragati Maidan Tunnel.

It said that only goods vehicles carrying essential commodities, including as milk, vegetables, fruits, medical supplies, and others, will be permitted to enter Delhi. According to the announcement, “Controlled Zone-I” will be applied to the whole New Delhi District from 5 AM on September 8 to 23:59 on September 10.
