Leading public sector bank Bank of India has released a recruitment notice for the position of Specialist Security Officer in MMGS-II. Online applications will be accepted from March 20 to April 3, 2024. The goal of the recruiting is to occupy 15 open positions. Applicants can review the information in PDF.

BOI Officer Qualification Standards

Qualifications for Education: A graduate degree from an accredited university or its equivalent. It is necessary to have completed a computer course for at least three months or to have written a related paper in information technology, either as a subject at or after graduation.

The candidate must be a police officer with at least five years of experience and no less than the rank of deputy superintendent of police, or an officer in the Army, Navy, or Air Force with a maximum of five years of commissioned service. OR The candidate must have served in paramilitary forces for at least five years as an officer with at least the rank of Assistant Commandant. Regarding the age restriction, the candidate must be at least 25 years old. In contrast, a 40-year-old maximum age has been maintained. The calculation of age will begin on February 1, 2024.

Individual interviews and/or group discussions will be used to determine which candidates get these positions.

  • Candidates must go to www.bankofindia.co.in, the bank’s website.
  • Select ‘Career’ now.
  • You must now click the link labeled “Recruitment of Specialist Security Officers – Project No. 2023-24/2 Notice dated 01.02.2024” to access the new page that has opened.
  • This will cause a new window to open; fill it out by clicking APPLY ONLINE.

  • Speaking about application fees, aspirants from the SC/ST category will need to pay Rs 175 for their application. However, aspirants from other categories including the general category would need to pay an application fee of Rs 850.
