India Covid-19 Updates: After a jump of 23.4 percent in new cases of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours, 12249 new cases have been reported, whereas earlier on June 21, 9,923 people were infected.

New Coronavirus Cases in India: Coronavirus is not taking its name to wreak havoc in India and once again there has been a jump of 23.4 percent in new cases. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 12249 new cases of Kovid-19 (Kovid-19 in India) have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

There has been a jump of 23.4 percent in new cases of coronavirus in the country. In the last 24 hours, 12249 people have been infected across the country, while earlier on June 21, according to the data released on June 21, 9 thousand 923 new cases were reported in 24 hours.

81687 active cases of corona

With the rapid increase in new cases of Kovid-19, the number of active patients is also increasing continuously and the number of patients undergoing treatment in the country has increased to 81687. 4 crores 27 lakh 25 thousand 55 people have been cured of coronavirus. Whereas so far 5 lakh 24 thousand 903 people have died due to this epidemic across the country.

Maharashtra’s corona cases increased tension

The highest number of cases of coronavirus have been reported in Maharashtra and according to the data released by the Health Department on Tuesday (June 21) evening, 3659 new cases were reported in 24 hours. On Tuesday, 39094 Kovid tests were conducted in the state and the positivity rate was recorded at 9.36 percent. At the same time, 3356 patients were cured, while 1 patient died. After this, the number of active cases of Kovid-19 in Maharashtra increased to 24915. Earlier on Monday, 2354 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Maharashtra and the positivity rate was recorded at 10.36 percent.

The infection rate in Kerala raised concern

Apart from Maharashtra, the infection rate of coronavirus is increasing continuously in Kerala and the positivity rate was recorded at 17.76 percent on Tuesday. 2609 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Kerala on 21st June, after which the number of active patients has increased to 22593. Earlier on Monday (June 20), 2786 new cases were reported in Kerala and a positivity rate was found. 16.08 percent.
