Epf Interest Money: There is excellent news for those with PF accounts. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has begun crediting the accounts of its 7 crore users with interest payments. The government is transferring the interest for the fiscal year 2022 to EPF account holders. Let us inform you that the interest rate at this time is 8.1 percent.
How to calculate interest
- You will receive Rs 81,000 in interest if your PF account has Rs 10 lakh.
- You will receive Rs 56,700 in interest if your PF account has Rs 7 lakh.
- If you have Rs. 5 lakh in your PF account, interest will total Rs. 40,500.
- 8,100 rupees will arrive if you have one lakh rupees in your account.
1. With Missed Calls, know the balance as shown.
You must make a missed call to 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number to check your PF funds. Following that, you will receive the PF information via an EPFO message. You must link your UAN, PAN, and Aadhaar in this case as well. You would receive interest of Rs 56,700.
If you have Rs. 5 lakh in your PF account, interest will total Rs. 40,500.

2. Check the balance online like this
A. Go to epfindia.gov.in and click on e-passbook on the EPFO website to check your balance online.
B. Your e-passbook will now open a new tab at passbook.epfindia.gov.in when you click it.
C. Enter your username (UAN number), password, and captcha here.
D. Once all the information has been entered, you will be taken to a new screen where you must choose the member ID.
E. On this page, you may access your EPF account balance.
3. Using the UMANG App to View Your Balance
A. To do this, enter the EPFO tab in your UMANG App (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance).
B. Next, select Employee-centric services on the following screen.
C. Select “View Passbook” here. You enter your UAN number and password (OTP) number using this.
D. The OTP will be sent to the mobile number you registered. Then, you can check your PF balance.
4. Check Balance Through SMS
-You can receive messages with information on your PF balance if your UAN number is registered with EPFO.
-To do this, text EPFOHO to 7738299899.
-Following that, you will receive a mail with PF information.
-Let us notify you that you must send information by writing EPFOHO UAN if you want it in Hindi.
– This PF balance check service is offered in Bengali, English, Punjabi, Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
-Your UAN, bank account, PAN, and Aadhaar (AADHAR) must be linked to access your PF balance.
