Recent media rumors suggest that Bajaj Auto is getting ready to reveal an improved version of the Chetak electric scooter. Which might be added to the roster in the upcoming months. It is anticipated that the next model will have numerous improvements, such as a larger battery and greater range. The 4.25kWh BLDC electric motor that powers the new Bajaj Chetak may provide more performance and range.
It can reportedly be equipped with a larger 3.2kWh battery pack,
which has a 126 km ARAI-certified range. The current Chetak electric scooter has a 113-kilometer range thanks to a 2.9-kwh battery pack. Regarding its other noticeable changes, one of them might be the TFT color display. It will measure between five and seven inches.
Reports state that no modifications
to the scooter’s dimensions are anticipated. Its dimensions—length, breadth, height, and wheelbase—will stay at 1894 mm, 725 mm, and 1132 mm. Its new premium edition should weigh around 3 kg less, though. In addition, Bajaj Auto is reportedly testing what will be India’s first motorcycle fueled by compressed natural gas (CNG).
Sales of Bajaj Auto rose.
November 2022 saw a 31% year-over-year growth in Bajaj Auto’s total sales to 4,03,003 vehicles, up from 3,06,719 units in November 2022. Pune-based Bajaj Auto Limited released a statement stating that overall domestic sales (two-wheelers and commercial vehicles) surged to 2,57,744 units last month, up from 1,52,883 units in November 2022.
