A new facelift for the Jeep Meridian was seen during testing

Jeep

During the introduction of the Wrangler SUV, Jeep India announced the debut of the new Meridian facelift. This year will see an update for this three-row SUV based on the Compass. The facelifted Meridian has been sighted recently, providing some important data about it ahead of its formal launch.

What did the spy photos show?

Based on the updated images, the Meridian facelift will retain the current model’s framework with a few tweaks. But it has a new front bumper with silver accents, new LED headlamps and DRLs, a modified grille, and a radar module located on the bumper, indicating that ADAS technology can be included in it. In comparison to the present model, the new Meridian is anticipated to include revised tail lamps, a new rear bumper, newly designed alloy wheels, and more paint scheme options.

What kind of interior will it have?

Another spy photo provides an interior view of the SUV, albeit not many noticeable alterations are apparent at first. It features the same elevated center console, digital driver display, multifunction steering wheel, and free-standing infotainment system as previously. But in addition to updated air conditioning controls, changed upholstery, and additional features like a dash camera and rear window blinds, the new Meridian is probably going to have a new motif for the inside.

Drivetrain

The Jeep Meridian facelift’s engine is not expected to change in any way. It will still come with a 2.0-liter diesel engine, a 6-speed manual, and a 9-speed automatic torque converter unit. In addition, a few variations of the 4WD system will be available. This SUV will still face competition from the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Skoda Kodiaq following the facelift update.
