Aadhar card has become a necessity today, as it is required for almost every work. You have to open a bank account, get a ration card, avail government or non-government facilities, take subsidy, reveal your identity, etc. Many such tasks call for an Aadhar card. It is distributed by India’s Unique Identification Authority. UIDAI to every citizen of India. Apart from the Aadhaar card number, it contains the demographic and biometric information of the cardholder. In such a situation, along with its need, news of fraud through Aadhaar also keeps coming to the fore. By adopting some precautions in this case, you can prevent being taken advantage of. I’ll tell you about it now.
Keep these things in mind:-
First thing
You do not need to give the original copy of your Aadhar card anywhere and at any suspicious place. Give photocopy only when needed and ensure that it will not be misused.
Other thing
If you are giving a copy of your Aadhar card to someone, then mask his number, that is, use the Aadhar card with the mask. In addition, uploading your Aadhar card without verification to any third-party app is prohibited.
Third thing
Always keep your Aadhar card and mobile number current. UIDAI has also given a place to the Aadhar card holders to avoid fraud that everyone should keep their mobile number linked to the Aadhar card.
If in doubt, do this work immediately:-
