Air India may purchase 500 new planes, the biggest deal in its history

Air India: Although no formal announcement has been made yet, Air India is authorized to acquire 400 small aircraft and 100 large aircraft, including the Airbus A350S, Boeing 787S, and Boeing 777S.

Steering Framework for Ethics in Air India

The senior leadership level has formed an Apex Ethics Committee. The group is led by Campbell Wilson, the managing director, and chief executive officer of the company, and includes the airline’s chief operating officer, chief financial officer, chief human resource officer, and chief ethics advisor.

This body will create ethics standards, sanction ethics rules and regulations, and serve as the last resort for local ethics panels.

Additionally, Gurjot Malhi of Vistara was disclosed to staff members by Air India in an internal document as the new Chief Ethics Counselor.

Both Boeing and Airbus declined to comment. An inquiry for comment was not immediately answered by the Tata Group.
