Amit Shah

Amit Shah, the minister of cooperatives, has made significant news for the farmers. As a result, farming expenses may drop by 20% in the near future. He urged the farmers to use more liquid nano urea and liquid nano di-ammonium phosphate (DAP). He claimed that by using these items, India would be able to produce its own fertilizer and lessen its need for imports. Nano Liquid DAP fertilizer from IFFCO is now available for purchase in 500 ml bottles. According to Amit Shah, the availability of DAP in liquid form will aid in improving both the quality and volume of agricultural produce.

Bottles of 500 ml cost Rs 600.

Amit Shah stated that a 500 ml bottle costs Rs. 600. Traditional DApps are more than twice as expensive as liquid DApps. A 50 kg bag of traditional DAP currently costs Rs 1,350. In addition to lowering import costs, using liquid DAP will increase crop output, conserve soil, make shipping and storage simpler, and improve soil quality. According to Amit Shah, 60 percent of India’s population works in agriculture and allied fields. This revolutionary development’ will contribute to the nation becoming self-reliant’ in the fertilizer sector.

Amit Shah – It will assist in lowering crop production costs.

The cost of fertilizer subsidies in 2022–2023 was Rs 2.25 lakh crore. He claimed that employing Nano DAP would aid farmers in bringing down the price of growing crops. This will result in a 6–20% cost reduction. According to Shah, IFFCO owns a 20-year patent on both Nano Urea and Nano DAP. As an alternative to using the products, IFFCO cooperative society will receive royalties. According to IFFCO, production facilities for Nano DAP fertilizers have begun operating at Kalol, Kandla in Gujarat, and Paradip in Orissa.

The Kalol factory will produce 50 million bottles of Nano DAP liquid this year

which is equal to 25 lakh tonnes of DAP. One bottle of Nano DAP includes 16 percent phosphorus and 8 percent nitrogen. which is the same as a bag of conventional DAP weighing 50 kg. According to IFFCO Chairman Dilip Sanghani, the goal of Nano DAP is to increase farmers’ income and give them a brighter future in keeping with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a “Sahakar Se Prosperity and Self-reliant India.”
