Technology giant Apple has been working on an electric self-driving car for a long time. The name of this ambitious project Apple is Titan. This is one of the longest-running rumors in the tech world. But till now it has not been officially confirmed by the company. Apple Car is an electric vehicle that Apple is working very closely on. According to media reports, custom-made car OS (CarOS) is being given in the Apple car. It is similar to the centrally integrated operating system used in Tesla electric cars. There are also reports that Apple is developing a software platform that can control every aspect of the car.

A new report claims that Apple has revised one of its old original patent filings and introduced it with new technology. According to the new patent, the car will run under the command of Siri and will work like an iPhone. Also, the revised patent also comes with updated autonomous driving technology.

Parking will be the right place
Apple’s new patent is called Guidance of Autonomous Vehicles in Destination Disabilities Using Intent Signals (Guiding Autonomous Vehicles to Destination Areas Using Intent Signals). It provides a way to use a smartphone’s touchscreen and voice recognition system to perform multiple tasks, such as parking the car or where the owner wants it to be parked.

Autonomous driving technology will improve
During the basic phase of the application, the purpose of the patent filing is to make the distance of the last one percent of the journey so accurate that the driver can be transported to the location. The patent claimed that the vehicle’s navigation systems are really good at getting the driver closer to the destination. Now the patent has been updated so that the autonomous car can park itself exactly where the owner wants it to be parked or where he wants the car to leave after reaching the destination. This advancement in technology will further enhance the autonomous driving capability of Apple Cars. The role of Siri, Apple’s voice-driven personal assistant, will be very important in performing these tasks.

When will launch
The report claims that this original patent was filed in 2019, but it has been updated significantly recently. It also claims that Apple has completely withdrawn its original patent filing and granted a new one instead. Although the launch date of the Apple Electric Car has not been disclosed.
