A while back, Apple unveiled a new feature that improves hearing.
What is this feature?
This allows you to both examine and protect your ears. According to Apple, this capability is excellent for people with hearing impairments. The FDA has also given Apple permission to use this function. A MacRumors report claims that you can test your ears on your iPhone itself. In this, you will be played some sounds and you have to tell whether you are able to hear these sounds or not. These results will be saved in the Health app of your phone. If you have trouble hearing, then AirPods Pro 2 will increase some frequencies for you, just like hearing aids do.
Additionally,
this new feature helps shield your hearing from loud noises. The AirPods Pro 2 will continue to listen to the sounds around you and will cut down on any loud noises. This function will function in multiple modes. like noise cancellation and transparency mode. AirPods can cut background noise by 11 to 30 dB if there is a lot of it. Your ears won’t get hurt by this.
This new feature also allows
you to examine how much noise you are hearing and how much of it has been muffled by AirPods. The Health app on your phone will include this information. This will demonstrate how effectively Apple is safeguarding your ears.
