The base price of Ather’s entry-level electric scooter, the 450S, is Rs 1.30 lakh (without state subsidies). Ather 450S reservations will open in July. It will go off against Ola S1 in the marketplace. Even though Ather has kept quiet about the new 450S, it hasn’t revealed much about the new trim. According to the company’s information, the 450S will have a 3 kWh battery pack, which is less than the 450X’s 3.7 kWh lithium-ion battery.
In this scenario, the 450S will provide a 115 km range on a single charge.
Although the certified range of the 450X is similarly 146km, the actual range is just 105km, meaning under real-world circumstances, its range will be less than 115km. Despite having a 20 percent lower range than the 450X, the 450S still has a speed of 90 kmph. The 0–40 kmph speed numbers have not yet been disclosed by Ather. It won’t have as many features as the 450X version.
Prices for Ather 450X rose.
In addition to this, Ather recently raised the cost of their 450X. The price of the 450X has climbed to Rs 1,45,000 (in Bengaluru), while the price of the 450X with the Pro pack has gone up to Rs 1,65,435 (in Bengaluru). According to a statement made on behalf of Ather Energy, the revised FAME-2 subsidy will go into effect on Thursday, June 1, and as a result, the cost of its scooters has increased.
