Aside from weekends, August has 8 bank holidays
according to the Reserve Bank’s calendar. The Negotiable Instruments Act of 1881 required the national government to divide the holidays into three groups.
People won’t be inconvenienced by bank-related activities because critical services like ATMs, cash deposits, internet banking, and mobile banking will still be available during these holidays.
