This month is filled with celebrations, such as Chhath Puja, Diwali, and Dhanteras. Check the list of holidays prior to that if you have any work relating to the bank. This week, banks will only be open on Wednesday and Thursday for a total of two days. Banks will be closed from the tenth to the fifteenth. If you have any work to do in this scenario, finish it within these two days only.

List of Bank Holidays for Diwali

  • On November 10, banks in Shillong will be closed in observance of Govardhan Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Deepawali, and Diwali.
  • 11 November: Because it’s the second Saturday, banks will not be open.
  • November 12: On Sunday, banks all throughout the nation will be closed.
  • November 13: Agartala, Dehradun, Gangtok, Imphal, Jaipur, Kanpur, and Lucknow banks will be closed on this day due to Govardhan Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Deepawali, and other festivities.
  • On November 14, banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Gangtok, Mumbai, and Nagpur will be closed in observance of Diwali (Bali Pratipada), Vikram Samvat New Year, and Lakshmi Puja.
  • On November 15, in observance of Bhai Dooj, Chitragupta Jayanti, Lakshmi Puja, Ningal Chakkuba, and Bhratri Dwitiya, banks will be closed in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Shimla.
