The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the bank holiday schedule for November 2024. Several holidays this month will cause banks to be closed for a total of 12 days. Location-specific celebrations, festivals, and other observances are all part of the holidays. This list includes the second and fourth Saturdays in addition to all Sundays. Checking the list will help you organize your visits appropriately. As a result, it is important to refer to the list and modify your visitation schedule appropriately.

November bank holidays

1 November (Friday): In observance of Deepavali, Kut, and Kannada Rajyotsava. Banks will also be closed in states like Tripura, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Manipur.

November 2 ( Saturday): Banks in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and other states will be closed for Diwali, Laxmi Puja, and Govardhan Pooja. It’s important to note that this day falls on the first Saturday of the month, which is not a holiday.

Sunday, November 3: All Indian states and union territories (UTs) will have their banks closed on Sunday.

November 7 (Thursday): In observance of Chhath (Evening Arghya), banks will be closed in several states, including Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand.

November 8 (Friday): In observance of the Chhath (Morning Arghya)/Wangala Festival, banks will be closed in some states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, and Meghalaya.

Saturday, November 9: The second Saturday

Sunday, November 10: Sunday

In observance of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartik Purnima, and Raha Purnima. Banks will be closed on Friday, November 15, in a number of regions, including Mizoram, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Hyderabad—Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Bengal, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Srinagar.
