The continual completion of e-KYC is emphasized in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the most ambitious program the Central Government has launched for farmers. Farmers who did not complete e-KYC in the past were not given a scheme installment by the government. However, many farmers’ e-kycs are still pending. Together with the state governments, a specific campaign is also being undertaken for this.

The option to complete an e-kyc up until this point was only available through an OTP (OTP) or “fingerprint.” But nowadays, even a face scan can be used to finish the e-KYC process. Yes, farmers who have signed up for the program can now finish the e-KYC process by scanning their faces without using an OTP or “fingerprint.”
The government has included a “Face Authentication” feature in the mobile application to help with this.
