Although an automated manual gearbox (AMT) isn’t strictly speaking a completely automatic gearbox, it nonetheless serves the same purpose. There is no clutch pedal included. The Tiago is now the first CNG hatchback with a five-step AMT. A 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine powers the Tiago CNG. When in CNG mode, its output is 72bhp and 95Nm. In petrol mode, it gives 85bhp and 113Nm output. According to Tata Motors, Tiago CNG AMT gives a mileage of 28.06 km/kg.

Tata Motors retails for between Rs 7.90 lakh and Rs 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). These prices show that the AMT is only Rs 55,000 more expensive than the manual version. Three versions of the Tiago iCNG AMT will be offered: XTA, XZA+, and XZA NRG.
Features
When it comes to features, Tata Motors has thought of everything. The top-tier version is equipped with an 8-speaker Harman sound system and a 7-inch infotainment system. It boasts foldable ORVMs, rain-sensing wipers, steering-mounted controls, automated headlamps, and automatic climate control. In addition, the Tiago iCNG AMT has a rear parking camera, an all-digital instrument cluster with a tire pressure monitoring system, and a driver seat that can be adjusted in height. There are numerous safety features as well, which include front twin airbags, EBD, ABS, corner stability control, ISOFIX, and seatbelt reminders for all seats.
