A large family necessitates a vehicle with ample room for all members. However, purchasing a large 7-seater car for a large family usually results in higher costs (in comparison to 5-seaters). With the Maruti Ertiga, this isn’t the case, though. This is a particularly cost-effective choice for big households.
This best-selling MPV in India starts at Rs 8.64 lakh, while the top model costs Rs 13.08 lakh (ex-showroom). This pricing is about the same as that of the 5-seater SUV Brezza (Rs 8.29–14.14 lakh), which has a smaller cabin. In addition, the engines of the two are comparable.
Maruti Ertiga 7-Seater Car Power and Distance
The 1.5-liter DualJet petrol engine in the Ertiga has been connected to mild hybrid technology. It also has the option of factory-fitted CNG. Its engine can produce 136.8 Nm of torque and 103 PS of power when running on petrol, or 121.5 Nm of power when running on a CNG kit.
While the engine is available with two different gearbox options—a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic—the CNG model only offers the 5-speed manual gearbox. With fuel, it can travel up to 20.51 km/l and with compressed natural gas, up to 26.11 km/l.
