The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released a recruitment notice for 379 Sports Trainer positions, with a particular reservation for women.

The Commission has released a notice for 379 Sports Trainer vacancies in addition to the CGL-4 and Office Attendant recruitments. 128 of the 379 roles are solely designated for women. Various categories, such as unreserved, SC, ST, MBC, BC, women from backward classes, and EBC, are used to divide the remaining slots. Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates must hold a technical certificate in sports and hold a bachelor’s degree in any field. A postgraduate diploma in sports coaching from the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education or a Central Sports University, a diploma in sports coaching from the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, or an equivalent degree from an accredited sports university are among these credentials.
Sports accomplishments are also given a lot of weight during the hiring process. Candidates must have participated in national or international championships as representatives of their state or India in an international tournament. Eligibility requirements will also include competing in recognized events like the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, World Championships, or Asian Championships. Regular involvement in national championships, junior championships, All India Inter-University Championships, or inter-state contests like those involving the Railways and Police will also be considered.
Maximum Age
Candidates in the general category are required to be between the ages of 21 and 37. Both male and female candidates in the BC and EBC categories must be at least 40 years old. While the upper age restriction for men and women in the SC and ST categories is 42 years old, it is likewise 40 years old for unreserved women.

Both an interview and a written test will be used in the selection process. Successful applicants will be invited for an interview after passing a written test. After that, a merit list will be created using their credentials, background, and athletic accomplishments. This list will be used to make final appointments.
