BYD Atto 3 electric SUV has secured an impressive 5-star safety rating in the Euro NCAP crash test. The rating is valid for all left- and right-hand drive arrangement variations.
BYD recently unveiled the Atto 3 in India, with its launch scheduled for November 2022.

Like the Global NCAP, Euro NCAP tested the base Active trim of the Eto 3. BYD Atto 3 Euro NCAP test results
The BYD Atto 3 electric SUV achieved a 91 percent rating in the adult occupant protection category, earning 34.7 out of a possible 38. In the Frontal Deformable Offset Barrier test as well as the full-width Rigid Barrier test, the Atto 3 provided good or sufficient protection for both driver and passengers. The bumper provided good protection to the feet of the pedestrians but the protection of the pelvic region was almost entirely poor.
The Atto 3’s Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system as well as the Lane Support System performed well in most test scenarios, scoring 74 percent or 12 out of 16 in safety assist systems.
BYD Atto 3: India launch details
The Eto 3 will be BYD’s second model in India after the E6 MPV. Although the prices won’t be revealed until next month.
