CBSE Board Exams 2025 are to be held from 15 Feb, know the details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may release the exam schedule for classes 10 and 12 in December. However, the board has not yet revealed any official date or time for the release. The CBSE Board Exams 2025 session is scheduled to begin on February 15 and is expected to end in April. The board will also release a separate schedule for practical exams. For class 10, practicals will be conducted under the supervision of school teachers, while class 12 practicals will involve external examiners visiting schools.

will entail external examiners visiting schools, and class 10 practicals will be carried out under the guidance of teachers. On December 12, 2023, CBSE revealed the exam schedule based on past years. For grades 10 and 12, internal assessments, often known as practical exams, were conducted from January 1 to February 14, 2024, for schools going into winter were held from November 14 to December 14, 2023.

The schools designated as exam centers

for the upcoming Class 10 and 12 CBSE Board Exams 2025, the board has declared a required CCTV policy. The board plans to designate about 8,000 schools as exam centers, with an estimated 44 lakh students anticipated to sit for these exams in India and 26 other countries in 2025. To assist affiliated schools in accurately and timely submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2024–25 examinations, CBSE has prepared a series of frequently asked questions (FAQs).

In a formal announcement, the board stated,

“CBSE is working to expedite the LOC data entry process to guarantee that all associated schools report correct and timely data. In this regard, circulars dated 04/09/2024 and 12/09/2024 have been issued. A set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) have been released to address general queries on the circulars. These FAQs are designed to assist schools in navigating the LOC processes more effectively and address common queries that may arise.”
