The AICPI index rose significantly

Employees of the central government have their DA determined using the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI). Every month’s conclusion sees the release of the AICPI data. The DA score is updated or calculated based on these figures every six months. In comparison to April, when it was 134.02, the CPI (IW) for 2001 = 100 was 134.7 in May. The AICPI index has experienced a significant increase of 0.50 points.

The DA score has also increased significantly. Recent statistics show that the DA score is now 45.58 percent. A 4% increase in DA is all but guaranteed, even if the AICPI statistics for June have not yet been released.dearness allowance
