What happens: Driving above the prescribed speed limit. Overspeeding can attract a fine of ₹5,000 to ₹10,000, especially if you violate the rules in high-speed zones or residential areas. Parking in places other than the designated areas, such as no-parking zones. Penalty: If the illegal parking leads to an emergency or obstructs traffic, the fine can go up to ₹10,000. Violating these rules not only comes with a financial penalty but also puts your safety and the safety of others at risk.
