Rishikesh: Char Dham Yatra 2022: In view of the large gathering of devotees in Uttarakhand for the Char Dham Yatra, check posts in Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Rishikesh were activated on Saturday and it is being ensured for the Char Dham Yatra. Only registered devotees should be allowed. Dehradun District Magistrate R Rajesh Kumar said, “This has been done to ensure that the number of pilgrims does not exceed the number prescribed for the temples.”
He stated that pilgrims would be stopped at checkpoints and would not be allowed to proceed unless they registered and showed their travel cards. He said that The travel card will clearly state the date and time of your visit to the temple.

According to the official, due to a lack of information, plans are being made to register those who have arrived without registering.
The Uttarakhand government has set a time limit of 45 days this time. During this, 15 thousand people are allowed for Badrinath and 12 thousand for Kedarnath daily, while 7 thousand for Gangotri and 4,000 for Yamunotri have been fixed.
