Corona New Variant in India: Coronavirus is not ready to leave the world even after almost two and a half years. The medical community and pandemic watchers are now in a panic over an Israeli scientist. Israeli scientist Dr. Shay Fleshon has claimed that the sub-variant BA.2.75 of coronavirus has been found in 10 states of India.

Dr. Shay Fleshon works in the Center Virology Lab at Sheba Medical Center, Israel. He has written that till July 2, 85 sequences of BA.2.75 have been uploaded. Most of them are from India (10 states). The remaining seven are from other countries. As of now, the transmission information has not been revealed yet.

Shay Fleishon has also explained these Kovid cases in detail. According to Dr. Shay, as of July 2, 69 cases of the new subtype of Kovid have been found in India. In this, 27 were found in Maharashtra, 13 in West Bengal, one each in Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh, six in Haryana, three in Himachal Pradesh, 10, five, and two in Madhya Pradesh and Telangana, respectively.

According to NextStrain, a site that tracks genome sequencing data, there are seven other countries besides India where a new Kovid variant has been found. Shay Fleishon describes the BA.2.75 as the second-generation version. It states that this is the first time that the second-generation variants have migrated from the countries where they were found.

Shay Fleishon further tweeted and wrote that whether BA.2.75 will spread across the world in the coming times, cannot be revealed so soon. But BA.2.75 is definitely a matter of concern.
