The country’s rising corona cases have once more begun to raise concerns. These days, incidences of death are also being reported daily along with the number of cases. India reported 4,435 new cases on Wednesday (April 5) and 15 people died, according to data from the Health Ministry. 3,038 corona cases were reported earlier on Tuesday (April 4), and 9 people lost their lives. On April 4, one corona death was reported in Delhi, the nation’s capital, while four deaths were corona-related out of 711 cases reported in Maharashtra. In barely 20 days, three incidents of death were reported, even in the tiny state of Uttarakhand.
The effects of Corona have started to reappear in Punjab as well.
According to data from the previous day given by the state’s health ministry, two corona deaths occurred in Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar. 38 additional cases were registered at the same time. Out of the nine corona patients who died across the nation on Tuesday (April 4), two fatalities each occurred in Delhi and Punjab, and one death each in Jammu-Kashmir, Maharashtra, and Uttarakhand, according to the statistics released.
On Monday, April 3, India reported 3641 new cases of the coronavirus along with a total of 11 fatalities.
In this, one patient each from Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka, and Rajasthan perished together with three patients from Maharashtra. Additionally, it contains four fatality cases reported by Kerala. According to a representative of the Ministry of Health, the number of Kovid cases in the nation is consistently rising. Nonetheless, there hasn’t been much of an increase in hospital admissions.
Data for Delhi and Maharashtra
Such cases are surfacing often in Delhi, Maharashtra. Tuesday saw the discovery of 521 new corona cases in Delhi, the treatment of 216 patients, and the death of one. In Maharashtra, there were 711 new instances of illness recorded on Tuesday, 218 of which were discovered in Mumbai. Moreover, four infections-related deaths have occurred in the state in the previous 24 hours. In the last seven days, 11 people have died in the state.

While the fatality rate has been reported at 1.19 percent, there are now 4,41,77,204 persons in recovery from Corona. The daily positivity rate for Covid-19 is currently 6.1%, while the weekly positivity rate has climbed to 2.4%, according to the Union Health Ministry.

4,435 new corona cases have been reported in India in the past 24 hours, which is the most in 163 days (five months and 13 days). In terms of ongoing cases, there are now 23,091 of them. After the most recent cases, there are now 4.47 crore cases in India overall (4,47,33,719). With 15 deaths, there have now been 5,30,916 fatalities in total.
