According to independent research firm OCTA, the COVID-19 positive rate in the National Capital Region (NCR) has decreased to 14.3%.
Dr. Guido David, an OCTA research fellow, said in a tweet that the region’s positive percentage declined from 14.5% on December 11 to 14.3% as of December 14.
The percentage of those who tested positive for COVID-19 out of all those tested at a given time is referred to as the positivity rate.
The NCR 7-day positivity rate decreased from 14.5% on December 11 to 14.3% on December 14, 2022 (it was 13.5% on December 7).
This might indicate that infections in the NCR are already on the decline. Next week’s numbers will reveal whether the trends will continue.
