The hiring of 56 professorial and associate professorial seats has been announced by Delhi University. On October 7, 2025, the application procedure will open. Candidates who meet the requirements can apply online at www.du.ac.in, the official website.
There are 21 professorial and 35 associate professorial seats available through this hiring procedure. 56 applicants in all will be chosen.
Candidates must hold a PhD in a relevant field in order to be considered for the Professor job. Furthermore, a Master’s degree requires at least 55% of the possible points. They must have taught or conducted research for at least ten years. Additionally, they need to have 120 research points and at least 10 research papers.
Candidates must hold a PhD in a relevant field in order to be considered for the Associate Professor job. The Master’s degree must have at least 55% of the possible points. They must have taught or conducted research for at least eight years. According to the UGC, they must also have a minimum of seven research publications and seventy-five research points.
