On an empty stomach, dry fruits: We occasionally make do with tea and occasionally with bread in the mornings when we are pressed for time. However, one item is really popular on social media right now.

Consuming dry fruits first thing in the morning without food. Some claim it keeps the stomach clean, while others claim it sharpens the mind. But does everyone actually benefit from this habit? And if we eat, we will know the answers to the questions of how much and how to eat it today.

Should dry fruits be eaten on an empty stomach in the morning or not?

Nutrients abound in dry fruits. They are rich in fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals, and good fats. The body gets a huge energy boost in the morning when they are eaten on an empty stomach. However, they don’t affect everyone in the same way.

Benefits you should know

Energy Booster: Consuming soaked almonds or raisins first thing in the morning keeps the mind sharp and delays the onset of weariness.

Beneficial for digestion: The fiber in figs and raisins helps to keep the stomach clean and ease constipation.

A blessing for skin and hair: Almonds, walnuts, and cashews contain healthy fats that strengthen and nourish skin.

Heart-healthy: Omega-3 fatty acids, which are found in walnuts, lower cholesterol and promote heart health.

When and how to eat

The benefits of soaked dried fruits are greater.

Almonds, raisins, and figs should ideally be soaked in water overnight before being consumed the following day.

Eat in small amounts when your stomach is empty.

A daily allowance of four to five almonds, two walnuts, five raisins, and one fig is sufficient.

Avoid drinking tea or coffee while eating.

As a result, the body does not fully absorb the nutrients included in dry fruits.

Who should be careful?

After speaking with their doctor, people with diabetes, digestive issues, or nut allergies should consume dry fruits.

Dry fruits are no less than a tonic if consumed in the proper manner, at the appropriate time, and in the appropriate amount. Your energy, digestion, and skin health will all progressively improve if you eat them in the morning on an empty stomach.
