Workers’ Provident Fund Organization subscribers now have access to an e-passbook, thanks to Union Labor and Employment Minister Bhupendra Yadav (EPFO). The members will be able to see the specifics of their accounts with this, according to the EPFO statement.

In January, 14.86 lakh new customers joined.

Official records show that in January of this year, EPFO added 14.86 lakh customers. Yadav, who also serves as the chairman of the Central Board of Trustees (CBT), opened childcare facilities at 63 EPFO regional offices. At those regional offices with more than 100 employees, these Cradle Centers have been established. In addition, the minister formally erected the Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, regional office.

The EPFO physical infrastructure will be improved through

a five-year plan that was authorized by the Board of Trustees. At a cost of Rs 2,200 crore, this entails site acquisition, building construction, and specific repairs. The Board was informed of the actions taken to comply with the Supreme Court ruling regarding the pension on higher pay, the statement claims.
