Maruti Dzire is the best-selling sedan car in its segment. Recently its facelift model has been introduced, its CNG variant is capable of giving mileage of up to 31Km.
Compact sedans have always been in demand in the Indian market. People prefer these cars because of their low cost, better mileage and space. Though there are many sedans in the market, Maruti Dzire has gained tremendous momentum the last May and suddenly the sales of this car have doubled, outperforming all. Coming with a petrol engine and company fitted CNG kit, this car has been fiercely bought by the people last month and thus it has become the country’s best-selling sedan car.
Looking at the sales figures, Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 11,603 units of this car in the month of May, which is 99 percent more than 5,819 units in the month of May last year. At the same time, Tata Tigor is second only to Maruti Dzire, Tata Motors recently also introduced the CNG variant of this car, after which the sales of this car have seen an increase of 983%. In May last year, only 367 units of this car were sold.
Honda Amaze has become the third best-selling car in the country in the month of May. The company has sold a total of 3,709 units of this sedan which is much higher than last year’s 478 units. The fourth position is followed by Honda City with 3,628 units and the fifth position is followed by Hyundai Aura sedan with 3,311 units. There has been a tremendous increase in the demand for these sedans as compared to the month of May last year, but the performance of Maruti Dzire has been excellent.
Why people are liking Maruti Dzire:
Coming in a total of four trims, the VXi and ZXi variants of the Maruti Dzire come with company-fitted CNG. In this, the company has used a 1.2-liter dual-jet petrol engine which comes with a 5-speed manual and optional automatic gearbox. Its petrol variant gives a mileage of up to 23Km, while the CNG variant is famous for the highest mileage in the segment.

Features include cruise control, automatic LED headlights, auto-folding ORVMs, push-button engine starts/stop, and rear vents with auto AC.
